Shared responsibility for our planet
Planet Earth is our home, and at CLINITEX we see the world as a space we share with our customers, partners, employees and future generations. Our vision is responsible business in balance between economic growth and ecological principles. Every year, we therefore invest in modernising our technologies, reducing our environmental footprint and supporting the communities in which we operate.
Our commitment to sustainable production
At CLINITEX, we understand sustainability as a commitment to responsible business. Our production is based on principles that combine product quality, long service life and respect for both the environment and people.
Our pillars of sustainable production:
- Optimisation of material consumption in production
- Responsible approach to water usage
- Energy efficiency and the use of renewable resources
- Sourcing certified materials from responsible suppliers
- Social responsibility and fair working conditions
- Development of durable textile products with a long life cycle

Surgical textiles and the product life cycle
Single-use and reusable surgical textiles have completely different environmental impacts. CLINITEX positions itself as a leader in the field of reusable medical textiles. With reusable, washable textiles, we support a circular economy that emphasises recycling, reuse and extending the life cycle of products.
Our textiles are developed and manufactured in accordance with the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and standards EN 13795-1 and EN 13795-2, which ensures their safety and quality throughout their entire service life.
Linear vs. circular economy
A sustainable approach to surgical textiles is essential. Our products differ significantly from alternative solutions – not only in terms of environmental impact, but also in overall life cycle costs.

Continuous reduction of energy consumption
Energy efficiency is one of the key pillars of our sustainable development. At CLINITEX, we place strong emphasis on the long-term reduction of energy use not only for economic reasons, but above all for environmental ones. We regularly invest in modernising technologies, optimising production processes and improving the energy performance of our buildings.
A concrete step in this area is the installation of a photovoltaic power plant on the roof of our facility. Since 2024, we have been using 90 solar panels, which generate approximately 36,500 kWh of clean energy per year. This output corresponds, for example, to driving 250,000 km in an electric car. In this way, we reduce our dependence on non-renewable sources and actively contribute to lowering our carbon footprint.
Our efforts do not end with photovoltaics – in the future, we plan to expand other energy-saving and renewable solutions with the aim of becoming an even more energy self-sufficient and environmentally friendly company.

Landscape restoration
We actively participate in initiatives such as “We plant trees for Javorník and Ondřejník”, which contribute to the restoration of forest ecosystems in the Beskydy Mountains.
These areas have been significantly affected in recent years by bark beetle infestations and subsequent climatic extremes, leading to extensive loss of forest cover and a disruption of the natural balance.
We believe that a healthy landscape is the foundation of life and climate, which is why we strive to help through concrete actions. The trees we plant will lay the foundations for new forests that will grow for future generations and create more resilient and diverse ecosystems.

Thank you for supporting our vision
Sustainability is not a destination, but a path we follow every day. We would like to thank everyone who supports us on this journey – our customers, partners and employees. Together, we can help create a healthier, safer and fairer world.
